Meet Alayna Carlson – Property Manager with a Heart for Home

When something needs fixing, following up, or figuring out—Alayna is on it. As the Field & Property Manager at Spencer Properties, Alayna is the go-to person for keeping everything running smoothly at our properties and behind the scenes. She works closely with both tenants and homeowners to ensure that every home is well cared for and every question gets answered (usually with a calm voice and a can-do attitude).

Originally from Iowa, Alayna now proudly calls Raleigh home. She understands the challenges that come with moving and settling into a new place—and brings that same empathy to every conversation and every task. Whether she’s coordinating maintenance, scheduling inspections, or helping new residents get comfortable, Alayna does it all with a mix of professionalism, approachability, and genuine care.

A graduate of East Carolina University, Alayna earned her degree in Business Management while competing as a student-athlete on ECU’s swim team. Her background in athletics taught her the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—qualities she brings to her work every single day.

When she’s not at the office, you’ll probably find Alayna relaxing by the pool or lake, soaking up the sun, and enjoying a slower pace outside of her always-on workday.
